Carolyn moved to Las Cruces in 2012 from the NYC area. She attended Northeastern University in Boston, MA for both undergraduate and graduate studies participating in cooperative education learning model and gaining valuable insight as well as clinical experience prior to graduation. She graduated with honors receiving her Masters of Science in Physical Therapy in 2004. Carolyn has worked in a variety of settings over the years, but, since she moved to Las Cruces, has focused her studies to specialize in Lymphedema treatment and Craniosacral Therapy in order to meet the needs of our growing community

Evony Offutt is a licensed massage therapist, born and raised in NM, and moved to Las Cruces in 2014. She Studied massage therapy at Las Cruces Massage Training Institute graduating in 2007 and proceeds her studies at New Mexico State University. Evony has worked hand-in-hand with certified Lymphedema therapists for the past two years. Her passion is working with individuals and assisting them in their treatment.

Daniel joined the LCCR team in March of 2017, bringing 10 years of clinical experience in orthopedics, practicing primary in private practice outpatient setting. Additionally he is Clinical Interprofessional Instructor for Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Lori Diaz

Lori began her career as a certified Athletic Trainer following graduation from NMSU in 2001 with a BS in Athletic Training Education.She worked for Las Cruces public Schools taking care of the local high school athletes, along with a clinical position in our community as an OT/PT technician for 8 years prior to returning to her studies. Lori then graduated with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Vermont in 2012, returning to practice in Las Cruces community shortly after. Lori's specialties include orthopedic care and balance/vestibular training. She is currently working on her manual therapy certification and BIG certification fr treatment of orthopedic injuries and Parkinson's disease, respectively.

Julie is a native to Las Cruces, having been born and raised here, only leaving for 7 years of school. In 1993 she went to undergraduate at the University of Southern Colorado in Pueblo, CO., where she received her Bachelors of science. She then went on to Pacific University in Forest Grove, OR to receive her Masters of Science in Physical Therapy. After graduating, Julie moved back to Las Cruces in 2000 and has been practicing physical therapy in multiple settings for the last 17 years. She started her career in acute care, in which she quickly worked her way into management positions. Julie did management work for six and a half years before deciding to return to full time patient care. Starting in 2008, Julie began to focus her work on outpatient and home health physical therapy including Lympedema treatment. in 2009, she became a certified Lympedema Therapist, in which this continues to be one of her areas of passion and specialties. Julie continues to be experienced in all other areas of physical therapy and has a passion to provide good, quality patient care.

I graduated from Texas Woman's university with a Master's in Occupational Therapy. Subsequently pursuing a specialization in hands through mentoring with a hand physician and continuing education. I have 23 years experience specializing in hands, treating post-operative and cumulative trauma. Special interests include osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis, providing patient education to improve quality of life and functionality as well as training amputee patients with multi-articulating myoelectric hands. Additionally, helping local musicians and artists to address hand mechanics,postural re-education, overall conditioning and activity modification to prevent repetitive stress injuries while pursuing their passions.

Ms. Gafner joined LCCR in May of 2013. She is a Registered Nurse who brings us 28 years of nursing/managerial experience. Her clinical background consists of experience in ICU, Quality Assurance and Home Health Care. She obtained a Master's Degree in Business Administration in 2001 and has worked on a Regional level in Home Care, opening Home Care agencies across the US and preparing them for state/federal survey.

I came to Las Cruces Comprehensive Rehabilitation and Home Health Care in June of 2016. I am trained in most modalities but prefer to work applying deep pressure and deep tissue massage, focusing on trigger points and range of motion with all my clients. I believe that massage is beneficial to everyone whether they are injured or just looking for stress relief.
